atTAcK addiction partners with school districts in order to open Delaware’s first Recovery High School Program. A Recovery High School Program allows adolescents who have already taken the necessary steps to begin recovery the best chance for long term success. Through the proposed school program students in early recovery will be provided the academic, emotional and peer support they need to make progress toward a high school diploma and transition back into a traditional school setting. The public school will serve all of Delaware.
To support this project please send letters to your district-specific senator and representative requesting they support the attorney generals request for a one time allocation of $2 million in start up funding. Please feel free to use the template letter or to personalize your own. The direct link to provide your district legislators is www.legis.delaware.gov .
